We are exhibiting at the Selvedge Winter Fair this weekend 10th November at Chelsea Old Town Hall from 10am to 4pm. My lovely friend Sue will be there to help out as my glamourous and crafty assistant so please pop by and say hello.
This is what Selvedge says about the fair:
After three successful years the Selvedge Fair has outgrown its North London venue. Much as we loved its old school charm, this year we are swapping ‘the church hall next door’ for the beautiful Chelsea Old Town Hall. Our new central location offers the convenience of easy transport links and a host of textile related venues to visit, including the V&A Museum, making this the ideal opportunity for a weekend in London.
The Selvedge Winter Fair will retain its friendly atmosphere but offer visitors 100 stands with a carefully curated mix of antique textiles, talented designer makers and beautiful haberdashery. Exhibitors include Selvedge’s long standing favourites Julie Arkell, Tamara Fogel, Abigail Brown, Maiko Dawson and Åsa Pärson Textiles from Sweden. We are also delighted to introduce – new to the Selvedge Fair – The Marston House from Maine, USA, John Gillow and Jane Sacchi Antique Linens.
Whether searching for gifts, decorations and accessories – or the materials to make their own – visitors will be able to begin, and possibly complete, their Christmas preparations at the SelvedgeWinter Fair.
Winter Fair, Saturday 10November 2012 at Chelsea Old Town Hall, King’s Road, London, SW3 5EE. Open to the public from10am-4pm. Entrance £5.
